Rethink Residential | Acquisitions Specialist

As a Residential Acquisitions Specialist, you will work closely with our Property Strategists and sales agents to negotiate and secure multiple deals across various regions daily. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role requiring deep knowledge of the Australian residential property market - particularly from an investment standpoint - along with a strong network of selling agent relationships nationwide.


You will be responsible for identifying properties that align with client criteria, conducting thorough market and property analyses, and recognising investment-grade opportunities that deliver real results for our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Meet with sales agents face-to-face, over the phone, and via video to negotiate multiple deals across various regions daily
  • Source properties and create shortlists of the most suitable opportunities aligned with client criteria, including negotiating purchases with external sales agents
  • Perform all work required to finalise the sale of properties through to completion
  • Utilise RP Data or other approved software for Comparative Market Analyses (CMAs), rental CMAs, suburb and environmental analysis, and property locality assessments
  • Provide accurate advice on property worth, review outgoings and relevant information, and explain how each property meets the client brief - including completion of ield Spreadsheets where applicable
  • Liaise effectively with Property Strategists to ensure optimal client outcomes
  • Maintain databases and CRM systems, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and due diligence checklists
  • Provide all related property contracts and nominated documentation for review
  • Attend meetings for progress updates, business development, and strategy discussions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with selling agents and industry contacts across Australia
qualifications:
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Buyers Agent, Property Specialist, or in a relevant role within the real estate industry
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Australian residential property market, with the ability to source properties nationwide
  • Proficiency in sourcing properties, creating shortlists, and negotiating purchases with selling agents
  • Extensive experience in property research using tools such as RP Data for CMAs, rental CMAs, suburb and environmental analyses, and property locality assessments
  • Proven negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to network and build strong relationships with clients and vendors
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian residential property market dynamics, including supply-demand, market structures, and key regulations
  • Ability to conduct thorough due diligence on properties, analyse investment opportunities, and provide informed recommendations
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and effective time management
  • Analytical and summarisation skills for B+P reports, and the ability to make and present well-reasoned recommendations
  • Current real estate licence (required)

As a Buyers Advocate, you will guide clients through the full acquisition journey - from initial strategy through to settlement. This is a relationship-driven role requiring strong communication, market insight, and the ability to deliver confident, strategic advice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Advise clients on residential property investment strategies aligned with their goals
  • Support clients in acquiring residential properties across key growth markets
  • Manage client relationships from onboarding through to acquisition and settlement
  • Provide clear, timely communication and guidance throughout the process
  • Assist clients in understanding contracts of sale and key conditions

qualifications:
  • Current Real Estate Licence

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships

We're looking for a Group Operations Coordinator to keep Rethink Group running at pace. Reporting to the Head of Growth, you'll work across our ten businesses and centralised service model — coordinating between directors, senior leadership, and teams to keep strategic initiatives on track and the Group operating as one.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinate across directors and the senior leadership team to drive alignment, accountability, and delivery across the ten businesses

- Track and follow through on strategic commitments, bridging leadership priorities across businesses and functions

- Manage management meeting cadence — quarterly directors meetings and weekly leadership team meetings — including agendas and pre-read materials

- Coordinate day-to-day operational activity across the portfolio and centralised service model

- Support the rollout and adoption of the Group's operational framework across all businesses • Monitor adherence to Group workflows, SOPs, and process standards — escalating gaps and driving resolution • Support delivery of growth initiatives, campaigns, and go-to-market activity across the organisation

- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategy • Own and maintain CRM hygiene across the Group — contact records, pipeline stages, activity logging, and data integrity

- Compile weekly and monthly performance reporting to support leadership decision-making • Support day-to-day office operations alongside the Office Manager

qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Commerce, or a related field

- 2–4 years experience in operations, business coordination, or a similar role — ideally across a multi-entity or fast-growth environment

- Strong organisational capability with exceptional attention to detail

- Confident communicator across all levels of seniority — written and verbal

- CRM experience and comfort working with data and reporting tools

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite

- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver at a consistently high standard

You'll be the connective layer between our clients and our portfolio of ten businesses — guiding every relationship from first engagement through to long-term advocacy.

This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role. You'll own three things central to how Rethink Group operates: the client lifecycle across the Group, our client portal, and our centralised operating platform. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Own the end-to-end client journey across the Group — from first engagement through onboarding, active relationship management, and long-term retention

-Activate opportunities to connect clients with the full breadth of the Group's services

- Manage the Group's centralised operating platform — data integrity, process consistency, and team adoption

- Take full ownership of the client portal — content, access, accuracy, and the client-facing experience

- Manage the Group's shared inbox and phone lines — every enquiry responded to promptly and directed to the right person

- Prepare client briefs for relevant teams to maintain continuity at every handover

- Produce performance reports covering client engagement, enquiry activity, referral outcomes, and retention

- Use data and client feedback to drive continuous improvement across the client journey

qualifications:

- 3–5 years of experience in client experience, relationship management, or customer success

- Proven ability to manage a high volume of client relationships with consistent quality and follow-through

- Strong working knowledge of CRM platforms — Zoho experience preferred

- Experience owning or managing a client-facing digital platform or portal

- Background in financial services, property, or professional services preferred

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — polished and confident at all levels

- Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in data management and reporting

- Commercially astute — you understand how client experience connects to long-term value
